MIDDLEBURY, Conn. – Sahas Chandragiri won at No. 4 singles in the University of the Sciences men's tennis team's 6-1 loss at Post on Saturday afternoon.
All three doubles matches were tight, but the Eagles would win all three by two games before taking five of the six singles matches in straight sets.
Chandragiri's match was the lone one to go to a third set, where the junior prevailed 6-3 for his third victory of the season. He and his opponent had split the first two sets 6-3, 4-6.
Aside from Chandragiri, Borna Novak won a team-high 10 games at No. 3 singles.
University of the Sciences hosts two non-conference matches tomorrow; at 12 p.m. against Daemen and 3:30 versus Roberts Wesleyan.
