Kosiorowski and Nguyen Win in Doubles Play in Men’s Tennis’ Loss at Chestnut Hill

PHILADELPHIA – Jack Kosiorowski and Nathan Nguyen won 6-4 at No. 2 doubles, highlighting the University of the Sciences men's tennis team's 7-0 loss at Chestnut Hill on Wednesday afternoon.

Kosirowski's and Nguyen's victory was their fourth of the season together, tied for second on the team.

USciences then nearly took the doubles point, but Sahas Chandragiri and Evan Halperin fell just short in a tiebreaker at the third flight.

The Devils also fought tough in singles play, with three singles matches going to three sets after none did the first time the two teams met this season.

Borna Markusic, Nguyen and Chandragiri all fell in the final set of their respective first, fourth and fifth flight matches.

University of the Sciences makes up last Sunday's postponed match against Roberts Wesleyan this Sunday at 4:30 p.m.
